Since the 2021 Renegade is really a subcompact SUV, the fuel tank size leans towards the lower end whenever it’s compared to the full-size SUVs. But the Jeep Renegade’s fuel mileage won’t take a dip, with ratings that can be hard to beat in any vehicle.
The 2021 Renegade has a driving range of over 310 miles when equipped with the base engine. The 80th Anniversary, Freedom, Sport, Jeepster, and Islander versions of the Renegade have fuel economy numbers of 29 highway MPG and 21 city miles per gallon. Boasting something a bit different, the Renegade Trailhawk has 22 city miles per gallon and 27 highway miles per gallon, while the Limited trim level gets 29 highway miles per gallon and 23 city MPG.
While it varies based on the trim owners buy, the Renegade comes with a 2.4L 4-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower. This 4-cylinder is found in many of the trims the Renegade offers and features the same gas mileage for many of them. There’s also an available 1.3L Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine on the Renegade Limited and Trailhawk models which produces 177 horsepower. The Jeep Renegade blends the off-road history that comes with Jeep vehicles with smooth power on the road at the same time.

Bad communication. I called every day to check on progress and could never get a call back
I brought my truck in for an oil change and filter change fuel filter changed. They never did the fuel filter change. The entire scenario ended up being a pretty big frustration. I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to bob Howard at the beginning of August. I did not get it back until mid September, it took over a month to complete the repairs. Also the communication was awful, for days at a time I heard nothing regarding the repairs. I’d call back to back with no answer after waiting days for an update on my cars repair progress. I also went to the dealership after hearing nothing to ask about the progress of my vehicle. Which didn’t help no one there could give us an update or answer until our advisor got back to us days later. The manager was zero help and acted like he didn’t care and was rude. If you want you care repairs completed quick don’t take it here…
